When I fitted a MBC I set it up with a boost gauge to about 14psi. Then I removed the gauge as I couldn't find a place i like it. Car's running fine but I thought I'd stick it on today just to keep an eye on things. So under wide open throttle boost builds to 14psi and the is all over the place around 11-14 although its a cheep gauge and in bar so im guessing at psi values, about 0.7-0.9 bar.
I'm planning on a 16t swap soon but want to rule out any underlying possibilitys before i go ahead, a 3" system will be fitted at the same time too so ££££ cat and other exhaust restrictions don't matter all that much. Could block, head or intake problems cause boost fluctuations is my question.
Cheers, adie

It's the actuator mate is very weak so won't hold the boost properly .you can put washers behind the bolts that hold the actuator in the housing to tighten the spring.these actuator are none adjustable .
