01 to 05 air box upgrade worthwhile?

If I was u I would. It comes with a cone std. Then get the maf to turbo pipe upgraded. Also this will give you room fir your new wi setup ;)

Job all done. The facelift cold air pipe is loads bigger and far less restrictive as is the whole setup. Had to install a 70mm to 60m reducer to connect larger pipe to the turbo. The coupler is 70mm connects to silicon reducer to the facelift pipe http://i1281.photobucket.com/albums/a501/reevesey3848/20130906_110400_zps9f9ddda1.jpg
The had to cut down both the coupler and reducer to get a similar length of pipe to old one. that engine bay needs a good going over with jetwash. im going to replace that pipe with a custom alloy one soon

Going to clean car up soon once ready for the road. What size piping u going for mate? Will it make much difference without a bigger turbo installed?

That's what I thought. That's why I was asking if a upgrade cold air pipe would benefit without a turbo upgrade to something bigger. I'm sure the kk max out around 370 to 380bhp
