Urgent Suspension Question...Fitment years

Hi all,

Today my front Koni sturt collapsed due to years of rust or neglect (?) by the previous owner...turns out new Koni Adj Struts are about £180 each so to get the car back on the road I was thinking budget coilovers as I can get 4 brand new for about £220.

But fitment wise would S40/V40 Phase 2 suspension fit 100% on my phase 1 model?

I think the fronts are slightly different on the phase 2's, but its been such a long time since i had mine that i'm not 100% sure.

Thanks for the reply dude, in the end I went with some Bilstein B4 struts to go with my current Eibach springs.

Thanks mate, I did read more into the reviews and did not want to risk it lol. Parts For Volvo were great over the phone offering info and great prices. They are even shipping them out next day delivery for the same price to help me out as I explained my situation to the guy there.
