hi guys

think we sorted the running issues now so would like to find out what to do about tuning my t4 to around the 300hp mark? alot of people been saying its hard so if anyone can help it would be much appreciated. if is hard is there no reason i can install a AFR gauge and adjust boost and fuel to make my power or is this not appropriate with these engines?
also i think the car has had a remap already as there is a dyno print out with it running 250hp at flywheel and 223 at wheels :/

any help would be appreciated

cheers guys

The physical mods needed are no harder to fit than most cars, its the mapping that seems to be difficult on these as not many people are prepared to do it (as my mate has found out on his 2.0t).

For 300bhp, your looking for a bigger turbo, injectors, fmic, sports cat, maybe a bigger dp and a new fuel pump. Then you may want to fit a strutbrace, bigger brakes, stiffer suspension to handle that power.

If your car is running 250bhp then you may want to check you fuel injectors as the standard ones will be run close to (if not at) full capacity.

I believe there are a few on t5d5 who have got good power from t4s, who would be able to help.

also, i'm not sure if adjustable fuel rails and mbcs work well on these cars as the engine management can be a pain in the ££££.
