Im trying to search for strut braces on Vadis and whatever car i look into i still cant find any mention of a strut brace, ive found two part numbers on the forum, 9204248 and 9204180, im trying to find out which cars they are from and if either will fit my own car. Anybody help?

Don't know the part number but I think Volvo call it a "tower brace"?

I just happen to have a brand new strut brace sitting in front of me. Part number on the packet is 9204180 and the sticker on the brace reads part number 9204248.
The invoice lists it as part V09204180 part description 'SPEC SPRING STRUT SU' which is an abbreviation for Spring Strut Support.

hi
i just purchased a strut brace from volvo,
they call it a spring,
but its £64.00 plus vat,
its light weight alloy & it goes around the master cylinder,
no modification involved,
if you just phone your local volvo agent they can help,
they do a lot of performance parts,
hope this helps

Thanks keith, i managed to buy a genuine volvo brace 2nd hand for £40 hence the reason for the panic on the part numbers lol.
