View Full Version : Petrol Cap tether broken.

My S60 the tether for the petrol cap snapped off.
Got one off the bay and it's wrong size the petrol cap is smaller than the diesel one,seller listed for petrol cars.

Called F.R.F to get one but volvo only sell the tether with a new cap can't get it on own,cost of new cap with tether £12,so more goodies on there way.

i haven't got a door that stays shut let alone a tether on the cap lol

Got one of them the hole is to big cap just falls through the hole.volvo changed the size.

You'll have to buy a new Volvo that fits the hole then!!

I had one of those when I got Stribo's new fuel flap (which he immediately broke the spring retainer on lol) from the scrappy I threw it somewhere, might be in the toolbox. Not sure tho.

Now you know you can't just get it on its own, I didn't think £12 was out the way for it.

Another §§§§ up VOLVO made with the P2 then, I can see why they needed Fords help.:D
