They should basically be the same shape mate. I had some on my old 850 and they worked ok just didn't last long. What colour have you gone for? You got any pics of the pads they've supplied?

The only ebc pads that are any good are yellows the rest are pants mate .i had them in my v70 and first tried greens rubbish the they sent me reds for free they was alright but not good .so then I put in some ds2500
Ferodos and they were really good .and well recommended and when pads are nackered on mine that is what I will be putting in mine again.

When did you have the v70 smithy?

That was going to be my question too. A few years ago the EBC compounds changed due to massive negative Internet traffic. I was stung by a rubbish set of pads in my escort and I have never gone back, but I have heard of people that have..

They have changed their compound since then and are now ceramic, as it was the metal content that was causing the fade issues and causing them to eat the discs. I had them on my t4 and as a fast road pad and considering it was on the standard brake setup, I couldn't fault them. Ok from cold, very good when warm and with very little brake dust.

I've heard of some people that use them on track days, and they don't rate them, but that's because they're not designed for the track, so what do they expect?? They are a fast road pad, nothing more.

I'm surprised at that, as the red stuff I had gave off very little dust.

I'll be fitting red stuff when I need some new pads.
