the Walbro 255lph is a common upgrade for the internal pump

I've put in the Deatschwerks 300 - direct replacement.

i suppose a DW200 is enough 255 lph same as a walbro

Certainly depends on which FPR you run. I was overly cautious.

DW200 is the model...

I bought mine from coordsport - same place I got my rods.

i know its the model but they are car specific, or is yours a universal one?

the plug is E85 which is compatible with most in-tank pumps. The whole thing is a direct swap.... this is the DW300 - but I am sure the 200 is identical.

Out of interest could a pump from a larger car do? Like something from a V8 ?

It might not fit into the tank, but there are other options. I'm using 2 pumps, the original intank pump fills the swirl pot, then I've got a 300lph pump from the to the fuel rail

Wont that empty the swirl pot quicker than the in tank can supply?

I have a spare Bosch motorsport 044 pump that I had fitted originally - if you want to buy that & a Volvo loom should you need it?

even if the swirl pot does empty the 2nd pump will then suck it straight from the tank with additional help from the 1st pump. The swirl pot has a 2litre capacity so will take a good while on full throttle before it gets that low

You'd be using some serious fuel to empty the swirl pot with a standard pump!
I am a bit §§§§ed, but the key is pressure right? The standard pump won't keep the required pressure in the system where as the Walbro will. But the standard pump should be more than man enough to supply said Walbro, as the unused return fuel is dumped back in the tank anyway.

i might do dave if you have it in a couple of weeks, these tyres have put me on my §§§§ lol.

so i know that the pump is a weak point and a common problem, how much power can a good condition one cope with?

Right, sober now. Lol.
What I meant was, the Walbro can keep the required pressure where as the standard one couldn't.
But the standard pump should be strong enough to supply the Walbro with the returned unused fuel on top going back to the swirl pot :)
Is that right?
