s60's get remapped mate via the obd2 plug, only old cars like our 850's get chipped

My 04 S60 had to have the ECU removed and placed on the bench for the ECU to be mapped.....

To be honest - I don't know. The majority of people you speak to say that they're mapped through the OBDII port, but mine was removed and mapped using a device on their bench. Hand on heart - I'm not entirely happy with the map/results and will be looking at getting another in a few months, this time by one of the 'Forums' tried & tested mappers.

a 56 plate t5 will map up to 330bhp if it has the 2.4 engine and via the obd2 port

Power really.....It does feel quicker but not by that much, fuel consumption remains the same.

I recently 'stretched' her legs against a standard D5 and I couldn't pull away as I would have imagined......left me feelin' a bit sad :( lol

maybe its got a leak somewhere cos a mapped d5 should be really quick

I thought the same, checked the hoses I can see and nothing. I dropped the front engine cover down and looked up at the intercooler suspecting a leak - clean as a whistle. No signs of a leak at all & it drives smooth without any hesitancy under boost. I think it just the map tbh - especially after the dyno session.
