Whats the difference between 855 T5 and 855 T5 S?

Have the chance of buying a 855 T5 S and was wondering what differences this model has over 855 T5 ?

S is just a trim level like GLS

I had the `94 850 T5 S and the interior trim was grey half leather but the dash was all black none of this fake wood veneer it was the nuts as far as i was concerned!

Super motor , sad to get rid of it.

My 'S' had basic cloth trim, only front windows were electric and wood dash. Steering wheel wasn't leather either, but she went like the clappers. Only had boost wound up and that was it.

the fake wood in a t5 looks naff but better in the t5-r

The basic 850`s dash is just boring, the wood dash make the car look more classic.

The light wood in the R`s looks naff but the darker wood looks better.

And the fake carbon just looks crap.

I had a 850 t5 s, it had half leather/cloth seats, Black Plastic dash, electric front windows, ac sunroof and abs/tracs.

Mines an S, but has 4x electric windows, sexy blue leather seats :mischievo trip computer, cruise control and air con, the 850's could come with some random trim specs.

It also had a wood trimmed dash, which is now carbon fibre, looks 100000000000000% better!

Well at the end of the if the cars a good one I could live with any dash type.

I think the trim spec is pretty liberal on the 850's. You could have the original purchaser buy the 's' spec then tick loads of boxes on the options list and end up with a totally different trim level. Mines a GLT and it differes from loads of other GLT's I've seen. Had a customer who had a T5 that he said was a CD yet it didn't have climate control that my GLT has got (not that it works !)
