Ebay has quite a selection of pictures and models which seem pretty genuine. A good friend of mine worked on these (one of the TWR team) and thanks to him I own Rikard Rydells front spoiler/apron from his last 850 saloon in '96 :)

Often though of selling it, but how do you value something like that? :frown:

Do you not fit it to your car instead...? :jaw:

I contemplated turning my last estate into a replica too, but in reality dont/didnt have the time. It would look pretty daft on a plain white car without the rest to match :insane:

i would buy the spoiler/apron off you.
i would of thought £750.00 would cover the cost????

I'll try and post a picture today.
(translated; I'll try and get my daughter to post a picture today)

Its exactly as it came off after the last race in '96, the team pretty much split the cars between themselves!

Nice carbon fibre undertray :)

PM me if you would really like it. I even bought the minichamps to match

here's a few pics. Obviously its not 'as new'. Exactly how it came off the car and has been stored since '96. Came off the saloon not the estate obviously as that is what they were racing at the time.

You should get Tomcat to make a copy of it and sell the copies as these would sell like hot cakes I would imagine!!! I would change the ' R' bumper for that shape!!!

I for one would pay to get a replica of that bumper..if that is possible Tomcat without detrimental effects on the real thing ? is anyone else of the same idea, that way T5TIM can get a cut and keep it!!!!

I think it ruins the original making the mould but a could be wrong

That's what I'd heard also.

Don't know if we can do that to a piece of motoring (VOLVO!) history?

Whooaaaa!!!!, that's nice!, making a copy shouldnt be a problem, and if its done properly it shouldn't damage the original at all... If your intersted in sorting something out then PM me..

Tomcats coming to look at it this weekend, he reckons it could be promising, but not cheap to replicate because of the time involved.

Im more concerned with the original being damaged during the process, Tomcat reckons its safe tho.

Should i sell it or use it for replica's? Its a great bit of unique history :)

Keep it and use it for replica's - you'd be mad to sell it!!

I don't believe it will be damaged if done correctly and your right it's unique so it would be nice to share some replicas about.....
