Is this where the horns are normally moved to ? I found 2 unused threaded holes in the chassis leg under the battery and they seem to be the right size for the horn bolts .

inside of the Inner edge of my R front bumper is where i relocated mine.

Yep that is where mine are.... just need to feed a bit of wire from the loom... works perfectly fine

They're fine where they are until you put a nice grill on, then when you look at the front of the car all you can see is the damn horns waving at you from behind your nice new grill..

suppose from an aesthetic perspective particularly with A/M grills they look poor.

here you go : the new location marked by the bolts

horns installed after alot of cleaning the bolt hole threads out . had to use washers to space out the upper one so it could tighten up ok.

too right- they must block out about 30% of the surface area in the original location .

but, my own reasons were solely for looks - i hate to see the horns behind the grille.

I found that when I moved mine they sounded quieter then a mouse fart ! I ended up buying a Nautilus compact air horn and sticking it between the battery and headlamp.

yes, i did notice they seemed a bit quiter. but if somebody cant see a volvo estate comming toward them,
#should've gone to specsavers.
