Double Din Fascia Panel 2003 V70

As per earlier posts, I'm intending replacing the HU803 with an after market unit. I am leaning towards a double din JVC KW-R600BT. I have looked for fascia plates, with mixed results. The majority of retailers tell me I can only do this if I go to Volvo direct for the parts. Connects2, however on their site state that their CT23VL01A plate will fit V70's from 2000 - 2007. Retailers say this is for 2004 onwards only. I called Connects2, who told me it will fit ALL V70's from 2000 - 2007 that did not have a telephone pad.

Anyone had any experience fitting this plate? Grateful for input!!

I had a double din plate in my 53 plate s60 d5 and cut it so could keep cup holder in dash worked and looked good

Had thought of doing that, but I'm part funding the replacement by selling the HU803 and the USA Spec PA11 Vol I currently have fitted.

Not sure how good the system is but it integrates rather well !!

Go to a main or pfv and get a plod one. Its only 20-30 quid.
