It is my V70R that craps itself at 4000-4500rpm and then back to full boost.Unknown mapped ecu,no mbc,auto box.Any suggestions?I bet a porsche boxer guy had a laugh at me today.

poss bcs or maff or both mine had the same sort of thing sir....new maf and bcs and all has been fine...do u have a spare...have u done the codes as well

I haven`t done any codes mate.Its just a coincidence that it happened after fitting a diff ecu tho 1st run was good no probs.I don`t have a spare maf to try but have a bcs to try.Things do break down anytime really just didn`t have time to look into it today.

just had this with a dodgy ecu

My maf was the cause mate as you know. Mine wasn't at a set revs though.

This is what I`m dreading

Mine is spot on at 4k and clears after 4.5k rpm and goes like a rocket.

if you have weak plugs or leads a mapped ecu will show them up quickly, it ran sweet before mate, probably best to give it another stage 0

Still done nothing to it but on a short run had no probs so lets c what happens on the way to the meet tomorrow.

Have you tried changing the driver :P Also I've heard if your car gets anywhere near the Essex border it cuts out altogether. :hilarious:
