I read on this forum that the t5 engine does not suffer from heat soak. Please dont ask me to state the source.

So my target for power mods is intake. Remap and decat exhaust with bsr system.

Will I benefit from having a heat wrapped exhaust

Let me add......standard Downpipe with 15 g

Helps exhaust gas flow, just do it mate.

How much wrap would be needed for the standard downpipe

Just do it with 1/2 over when wrapping, should be enough, don`t have to go crazy

frankie said the T5 does not suffer heat soak on a induction kit thread but if she does not suffer heat soak why bother wrapping it?

Tony.

Also kingsford. How exactly does it aid the gas flow

Colder air allows more air into the inlet, hotter gasses help better exhaust flow.Just do it mate ideally with a better flowing manifold.

Every lttle helps and its a cheap mod too.15g with a HLM 304 goes really well
