Got my hands on an industrial ultrasonic bath for a price I couldn't resist and was thinking of test driving it on my orange injectors when I change them.
Anybody know what sort of fluid I should use? I presume Redex isn't a good idea - or is it? Petrol - no! maybe a decreasing fluid of some sort? White spirit?

Any suggestions?

If successful, I may be in a position to help a few members out ;)

No, not Redex it's rubbish. Use some BG44K (only available online or from Kwik Fit as far as I know), or some Millers stuff. The cheaper stuff like Redex has fewer cleaning ingredients but the more expensive ones have more cleaning agents in them and so they do a better job.

I asked Jimathan (who used to do the injector cleaning), he suggested hot soapy water with a hint of alkaline.

I also made up an injector pulsing device so I could push some fluid through them to do the inside.
