few probs on a tdi v70

possible new buy its a 99 v70 tdi manual it says that it accasionally pops out of forth and engine management light is on due to changeing the battery that volvo want £50 to turn light off

havent bought this ye but is it worth a go or should i walk away ???

just pulling the ecu out for a while will reset the code unless there is an actual problem, but sounds like the g/box is needing fixing, i wouldnt bother mate

is there a back door to see what the problem is ? never heard of a battery being replaced and light coming on ??

yea thats not a prob got workshop ramp tools and a few boys to help lol how hard of a job is a gearbox change on these ?

dunno about the diesels but a gearbox is a days work 12hrs on a petrol
