Is there a complete kit for doing the upper bushes on my S60. Its the 2.0T but I'm certain the upper engine mount and strut brace bushes are the same regardless. I can shake the strut brace around stupidly easily and I dont like it soft. I like it hard :D

If anyone has link(s) to bushes I need to sort that out or knows of some going cheap :D

The strut brace isn't actually a strut brace - it's designed to keep engine noise out of the cabin while restraining the engine.
There's powerflex bushes for the strut brace to tighten it up click me! (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-x-Powerflex-Strut-Brace-Tensioning-Kit-for-Volvo-S60-V70-S80-2000-on-/271102767081?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3f1efbefe9)
And, if you have the round top engine mount, there's a powerflex bush for that too click me! (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Powerflex-Bush-Poly-Volvo-S60-V70-S80-Upper-Engine-Mount-Large-Bush-/300836276882?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item460b3d4a92)

If you want to completely stiffen the strut brace, you can add washers to the underside of the mounts at each end of the brace but I wouldn't recommend it.

Here's a quick video of my top mount which I was concerned about. From the short clip you can see how much movement was in the engine brace before I powerflexed it.

having looked at the ebay links for what you chaps found Steve found cheaper brace tensioning kit but you both found engine mounts listed for the same car but different part numbers?

The Powerflex bush kit for the engine bar will stiffen this up considerably, but still allows a small amount of movement.

Sorry, my link was to a D5 bush - Mr P listed the correct one.

Yes we all start with nice little mods but it's like a snow ball on a hill just gets bigger all the time.

Oh yes, you start off buying better parts in the hope you won't need to change them for a while and before you know it, you're a grand in and hiding receipts from the missus lol.
