Power loss

Hi i have a s60 D5 on a 52 plate.....when i hit a certain amount of revs i hit a soft spot where i have no power. And a message shows ‘engine service required" .....if i turn engine off, and back on again the message is gone and power is back. Any ideas?

Have you read your codes? It could be a Main Air Flow (MAF) problem, the sensor is in the pipe next to your airfilter box. The only way to diagnose that for sure is to plug it in to a code reader and see what you get.

Possibly but it's more likely a MAF issue, you really need your codes read to get a better idea.
