Hello chaps,
my T5 was unfortunately rear ended and pushed into another car last week on the M4 :-(
Happily the other party has admitted liability, and the damage is not too severe, though it does need a new front bumper.
My question is, has anyone done this and taken the opportunity to 'upgrage' to an R numper of the same vintage:

Not sure if they will entertain the idea, and if I will be allowed to pay the difference, but thought it was worth an ask,
From the look of the pic above, I think it will kind of look alright, as the rubbing strip is still there and in the same place.
Opinions?
It's a dark blue V70 by the way,
