Off course, definately not an eco-wagen weekend and the T5-R will be looking as best I can get it, considering it is my daily and it has 257378 miles on the clock and the 2 previous owners weren't that careful with her, but I am starting to become more considerate towards her as I realize how lucky I am to have a manual T-5R

Never done anything like a hill climb before but got to be the best 30 quid ive spent in a while the buzz is amazing what a laugh :)

Think there is a need for a VPC stand next year :)

man, theres a bit of a debate going on over at RR at the moment about post 91 cars going up the hill.
as ive said over there if we paid to go, made the effort to queue then why shouldn't you. luckily my 740 was 1990 so ive escaped the argument. but it was nice to see a load more bricks there this year.

You can tell that you are coming out of the corner hard by the rear tyre nearly coming off the rim lol.looks good though and I think you should blow that pic up and put it on your living room wall.that pic is quality weldone for whoever took that pic

Biff, I think you missed the point the hill is not a competition( NO TIMING ) it is a run up the hill at a speed you feel is within your skills and if you mess up there's only one person to blame, every one else in the paddock may be pee'd of that you've lost them some run time, so careful runs within your driving skills is order of the day ( which worked nicely in our session as we got 5 - 6 runs and the other session got 3)

Who said anything about timing? It doesn't have to be timed to have fun. Which looks more fun? Pre91 or post 91. I reckon ours would persuade a few & I can assure you I plan on driving mine home. The hill climb can't be that much different to a few of my mates farms. Why u think the bullion is craving awd & usually covered in sheep or cow poo. Lol

cheers for the offer, but she hes a decat'd standard DP on at present, may have to look at a 3" turbo back system and I know I'm down on grunt compared to you and Col, but I think I will have to look at ratios, as the acceleration between the hairpins in your car is amazing.
