on the bay have a look for a dice/vida if you have a laptop ,just look at the specs you need first.
lots of threads about stand alone one's that work well.

Yep have a smart phone and a laptop. Would prefer one that works on the laptop or a standalone unit. The laptop is brand new so im sure it will have the spec to run snything needed.

I've used Torque app for andriod to read codes in the past. The ODB2 port bluetooth adaptor I bought scantool .net - comes with USB interface and additional software for a laptop.
