Is anyone using this? whats your thoughts? as i am considering using it for the 850r

How many litres of coolant does the system take?

Claymore uses it, and we use it at work in extreme testing, supposed to be very good but expensive, I think it's a good idea

because there is no steam it puts alot less strain on the engine, you can even take the cap off whilst running and it wont boil over

If you want some, let me know, (as I'm sponsored by the Evan's main UK suppliers) but it aint cheap, you will need two gallons of the coolant and two gallons of the pre treatment.

I'm not quite daft enough to put £140 worth of coolant in the car after an engine transplant, I was making sure I had no issues before putting the Evans in.

I saw Ed China do the swap of Wheeler Dealers. I think you have to be 100% confident you don't have any leaks - however the lower pressure does appeal.

I think there are advantages and disadvantages. Water/Coolant is relatively cheap, but water is corrosive and expands more when heated & needs to be changed regularly. The waterless alternative is relatively expensive and bit of a disaster if you should have a leak, but will be kinder to your engine long term. I am swayed towards doing it - once I can be sure I am 100% leak free.

It's a good call Dave, but you've also got to be sure your thermostat, water pump, radiator, heater matrix, and all associated hoses will be fine as well. I'm not saying you'll overlook this, but someone else reading this thread may think I don't have any leaks, so I'm fine, only to find they need a new rad 6 months down the line.

Its only expensive the first time you do it as you have to purge the system of water and flush it through with the pre treatment stuff
