Morning gents i have a spare cylinder head for my 850 r would love to know if anywhere in the midlands area do refurbs thanks

There is a place on bickford road Aston that do a good job did mine and smithys engine builds.

Best thing to do is take the head there complete and let them strip it down and service the head re grind if needed etc only time you would strip a head down your self to save cost would be if its going for a skim only

I can recommend Motorcast (http://www.motorcast.com/)- they did my head & engine. They specialise in head refurbs/repairs & did a lovely job on mine - and best of all they are very reasonably priced. Name dropping is allowed.

Can't give you a cost as they did everything including a rebore, company name is engine recon give them a call
