Power Steering Noise????

Hi All,

When the car is parked up and you turn the wheels are you meant to be able to here the power steering pump?

Even when i turn the wheels slightly it sounds like it's groaning.

Mine does it !! Mines a 1998 V70. I think i have read before to check the fluid it topped up or even change it

Mine does it aswell... all my fluids are ok and the steering rack is new.

thats good to know. I just never noticed it before and was concerned the pump was on it's way out.

Hi

I posted the same query a few weeks back, mine was low on PAS fluid because my top cap is leaking the fluid out.
