Problem is that the car will be fine to go but I cannot make that date because I have my kids that weekend and I have one of my sons for a whole week too that week sorry .i will try and come for a drive on the Sunday but will not be camping the night before .

Looked like another great day... I found myself dying of another cold on the sofa. it was so bad I kept falling asleep during the F1 and had to keep rewinding it to catch up. think I finished at 22:00 after starting at around 14:00ish.

Highly commended goes to both Neal & Richard who both put out great cars.

I've lost my best time ticket - no idea where it went. I would have liked to have put on a bit more of a contest & actually get near to putting even a small amount of pressure on Dean.

Fastest 70 series is a hollow victory given I was the only one in the class.

Still she's a little quicker than normal - I was posting mostly 14.2 last year.

Pushed on a 2.296 as my best sixty foot missing out on the trophy my a meer 3 1/100ths.

My Best time of the day was a mere 14.086 @ 104.something (lost the chit)

Best speed of the day was 14.1 @ 105.6mph

Thanks to Pete for organising - I had a smashing time on the Saturday - though my head hurt a lot till at least lunch.

I will say I was a little disappointed not to be more competetive. AITs on the strip were high - but it didn't seem to stop Dean from thrashing us all - so fair play. Just have to come back harder & faster.
