fair calls there gents, got me chuckle-ling, but what I would like to know, if you can get your hands in, can you remove the electrical bits without un-plumbing the brake system, as after four years I really should fix mine

Thanks, thats good news, will have a go at fixing that then, as it is probably a dry joint in the unit, which I gather is a common problem

Or use a imperial 5/32" socket thats what i used

lol make sure you do it right as some one on here once had a go and the ecu got on fire not long after being fitted back on

I meant hex socket - from a 3/8th set or similar.

I have spare bolts if you mess it up.

They can be a bit tight and crack when loosened, but I've not had a problem after removing three ecus, just need to make t=sure you keep the socket square on the bolt head (not easy with the bolts being upside down out of sight LOL)

Take the furthest one down out first. Its hard enough to get to without having to hold the ecu as well.

its all of and on its way to dave, i couldnt see any obvious problems, but i didnt know what i was looking at or for
