I have aquired an 18T turbo for a bargain price, This will fit nicely on my s60R manifold so while i'm** doing my manual conversion and as the engine box is most likely to be out i thought it might be a good time to install it...
So it would be a good time to get the turbo rebuilt as its done a few miles and it would be false economy not to...Right first time ehh,

My question is anyone recommend somewhere to get it rebuilt or can i do this myself?? I have a haynes manual so it cant be that difficult...can it?

(**please note, when i say, I'm doing my manual conversion, i am only there for motivational assisstance and tea & sandwich making)

you can do it yourself with rebuild kits, but personally i wouldn't risk it & get it done professionally. They know what there doing (& what to look for damage wise) & will rebalance it once put back together
