Now I normally don't miss any new car release and haven't for the last 18 or so yrs so you can imagine how shocked/embaressed i was to find this little gem
Why did they not make this a production motor or did they?
I want one and it gay gold to boot :)

i vaguely remember a story of Volvo asking TWR to develope a folding hardtop, once they'd done it Volvo said "thank you" & went to manufacture it themselves. TWR however thinking the deal was for them to actually make the car went in a mood, with the arguments going on the project was outlived its life. That could be a/the pre-production example TWR built to show Volvo

After owning a folding hard top car and a soft top car. The fabric roof wins hands down for me. I found that the folding hard top roofs leak like a really leaky thing especially if your cornering hard. Really don't think I would have another folding hard top tbh although they are safer and you don't need to worry about where you park it as much as what you do with a soft top.

i saw a new hardtop C70 yesterday, & it was the worst paint scheme i've ever seen on a factory car. Burgundy with silver windscreen surround & roof, looked like they'd ran out of colour coded parts so put a silver top on it instead
