I was thinking about how I was gong to convert my HU-850 unit to play MP3s from a phone or media player, when an advert popped up in the top right corner of the Forum page for THIS (http://www.carputer-shop.co.uk/aux-input-kits-c-2/volvo-aux-in-bluetooth-adapter-p-48).

Seems fairly reasonable
Anyone used one of these or is there better stuff out there?
CD No. 3 is already displaying error on the HU-850, so the rest are sure to follow, so I thought I would upgrade now.

I have had the Grom unit fitted in my car since last May, excellent piece of kit, I also purchased the Bluetooth dongle to enable me to stream tracks from Spotify wirelessly via my iphone.

Cheers for that Graham. Is fitting fairly straight forward? Had a look at their PDF instructions and it seems as if it is unit out, plug in and away you go???
Surely not that simple...................

My friend silverhorse, alas you don't know me that well, it was really easy to fit, I simply dropped it up to GRN motors and Benny did it whilst looking into a problem I had with the car :o

I'm not what you'd call spanner friendly, though he did say it was very easy to install, afaik it's as you say, plug into CD changer and away you go.
