I shall be at the Shrubbery Cottage in Oldswinford (where we had a mini-meet a few weeks ago) with number 3 son and brother if you want to come along.

Oldswinford Cross traffic lights (from Hagley towards Stourbridge), turn left and the pub's just down on the right :)

I think its here out of power somewhere so I will find it.

That aside, back in the old days we used house phones that ran with wires. Some houses still have them ;)

Things is (this is the point I have been trying to make all along) - YOUR MOBILE PHONE IS NOT IN YOUR HOUSE. I know this coz I rang it. Person answering - who I can only assume was yer Dad is waiting for you to call him to arrange collection of said device :slap:

Other than that I am aware of the older technology. If you let me have yer home no. I will ring you presently to arrange pick up this eves. OKAY YA?

Volunteered to organise it? Or to cover the car in Tinsle? Maybe a Christmas dinner somewhere would be good, what does everyone think?

As long as it's somewhere central I'd come along - perhaps some where around the M1, M6, A14 intersection ?

Jen,
I just rang the pub and they said small children are fine, so long as "they are reasonably quiet and don't run around"

So it would seem I was wrong.

Andrew,
The pub is to the west of the M5 (bit of a hike for a pint)

Crappy police mini van followed right up my bumper for most of the way out of Stourbridge (30 then 40mph limits). Normally don't like peeps getting that close - and I would have opened up a gap. Really got my goat.:mad111: - I couldn't see below his bonnet lip and I know that the C70 has quite a high rear view - but taking the p1ss a bit

RANT OVER

Nice to see you all though. Good to meet Jo-jo's new owner, gary - shame he had to leave quite so early on.

With Dave on that one, the Police van was way out of order. I was looking back and he was about 3 to 4 ft of the back end. Very rude. The officer driving it was obviously an idiot and if he had not turned off before the chance came it would have been a take down number and report job. Just goes to show that not all the idiots out there are plain to see.

Amazing what a bit of direction can do.
