Well its an organic clutch (stinks when it gets hot) but I am not entirely certain what the max power was. I will ask Hamish next time I see him.

I think this may well be the one. There is a racing variate paddle clutch plate that could be used - but the organic plate version...

Kalmar Union are now offering THIS (http://kalmar-union.com/parts/volvo-transmission/) Looks like very good value.

It doesn't give specific power/torque ratings, but Don says 'It is rated to stand up to anything that a modified T5 or R engine can throw at it'.

I believe Ashok (Pyaap on T5D5), has fitted this kit, so may be worth sending him a message.

How much power you going to be pushing Graeme? (And what cars it for?)

2005 s60 2.4 t5. currently running 328 bhp but oil seals are knackered so thinking about getting the same turbo as wobbly has. power is unknown but id like to think theres a lot of torque to be had. 400 bhp would be nice. its quick now but dosnt make me smile like it used to.

looks canny im just unsure about the solid flywheel. its the noise on idle that puts me off.

I'm using a Volvo DMF. It's a road going compromise.

im keen to keep the dmf. i can get a r clutch for around 160 and im fitting it so i might just give one of them ago and if it slips with new turbo then i can always upgrade. its only costing me time and not labour

R clutch will probably be ok at 330ish bhp on a 2wd......not sure about 400bhp.....the Spec 2 will probably be ok. Spoke to someone last year with a supercharged M3 and they were getting very good results from a spec 2+. (Both in the way it locked and its use for normal road driving).
