Anyone local to Widnes ish?

Wanting to know if anyone is local to Widnes? I have tried asking a few garages to clean my MAF and they all say they would prefer to replace ( what happened to old fashioned mechanics ) so anyway if anyone was local and knew how to do it I would be happy to pay and keep the cash in the family.

Hiya Mike, im local (ish) and could do it, BUT, it is an easy job to do. Just buy some brake cleaner and some long cotton buds and you'll need a screw driver

I thought you were going to do it yourself last weekend??
Don't be frightened of it. Follow the advice given in your thread about the original air filter, and the tips on this thread. It is so easy and if you fix it yourself you will feel like a super hero!! It will give you confidence to do other bits and bobs. If you can save yourself £20 here and £50 there, it soon adds up...........
