Wondering what you lot thought of this, I found a T16 on a scrapper with a straight outlet to swap for my 15G, on inspection theres a chunk out of one of the turbine blades leading edges (ive tried taking pics as best i could) what do we think chaps? Is it worth a rebuild? Dont think its worth fitting this if its not 100%. If I wanted to get it rebuild can anybody recommend anywhere????? And can I do anything else with a T16 (Not like a door stop or book end) :pimp2:

You could make a jet turbine out of it, use it to power a go-kart?

there are a whole load of other considerations other than the damaged blade. What about play in the shaft. I guess if you are having the whole thing redone then a replacement compressor is just one of many jobs.

Theres no shaft play or smoke but think im gonna get Rippsta33 to rebuild it and fit a new compressor wheel? No point messing about once its off the car.

personally i wouldn't risk it if theirs any sign of damage, & its a good excuse to get one of these LINK (http://www.ardtuning.com/Billet-Aluminum-Compressor-Wheel--TD04HL-16T_p_102.html)

I'm with Pedro on this. The best place for this turbo is where you found it ........... The scrap yard.

yeh i got my lightweight crank pulley from Lucky, defo one of the most helpful & honest traders i've dealt with. I've just gone thru the website again & cheapest postage was $60.95 :(. Import duty shouldn't be too bad on that
