Driving along the A38 in Birmingham(speed camera central)today my speedo decided to fail but the milage kept clocking up.Fixed itself after about half an hour just wondered if anyone else has had this problem .My car is a 98 V70 ME7.

I've got a similar problem, the speedo won't budge past 157mph.

Still working on it.

Mine is similar 160 though it hits a brick wall :slap:

possibly a lose/doggy connection to the ABS control unit?

Must get a new lead for that "DOGGY" connection.

Seems to be working alright still so will hold off booking it in until it happens again its MrsvikingT5s birthday this month so money will be a bit tight.

Long shot this, but worth posting.

I had a problem a while ago, no indicators, lights, ABS and I'm pretty sure no speedo.

If I slightly turned the key it all came back to life, it was the ignition switch. Piece of cake to replace.

Try and recreate the problem by giving the key a tweak by a few degrees.
