Afternoon all,
I have a V70 T5 1998 R reg on 134,000 and need to change the suspension as it is completely shot but how do I know or is there an easy way to tell if I have self levelling suspension?
Also whilst on the subject wouold you bother uprating the shocks and/or springs and if so any recommendations?
Many thanks
Rob

hello rob-
if you have nivomat self levelling suspension the rear shock absorbers are about 4-5 inches in diameter with a large rubbers bellows over half of the length.
if they are standard , they are only 2-3 inches in diameter with no rubber bellows.

I have a set of nivomats currently on ebay should you need a set. The auction ends tonight.
Here's a link, you'll be able to see what shocks you have by looking through the rear springs with a torch.
