Right then folks my c70 has the rear quarter windows that open so was wondering if anyone has removed these and if so how easy or difficult a job was it

I wouldn't say that hard. You'll need to remove the interior trim from the B-post, which means taking the top seatbelt buckle off. You'll also need to take the top trim next to the headlining - which means removing the grab handles.

Once the trim is away - the rear handle is bolted on inside & there are 2 nuts holding the retaining bolts for the front hinge, which are recessed into the B-pillar via 2 holes.

I know that Telford is a bit of a hike but I'd happily help & I have spare rear quarter windows should you have any issues.

Perhaps by then I may have Betsy back home?

The back way via Hereford is by far the best.

That's harsh - I made my decision to stay with Betsy & now you're just making it difficult.

This'll help - it weighs 1700kg! and is a D2 (I think)

Still want it?

Beautiful car tho.

I fear that if I do buy the C70 CC then I will feel obliged to do the full RS conversion - least I have the turbo to do it.
