One other thing, the gaskets on the rocker covers tend to leak when these engines get old especially if its been sat a while.

I plan on running, been out the game for two years now! Cant believe its that long since I thrashed a Volvo down the strip!

Ill be by no means competitive, happy with anything below 15 but hope I can manage after a few runs a 14.5 or better,.

its alot easier to launch a standard car, try launching one with 353lb ft torque all through the front wheels in 1st

With all the practise you've had, it should be a piece of cake. ;) Launching a 4WD car isn't as easy as you think, as it's easy to bog down if you get it wrong.
