Hydrogen car kits.More mpg- true or scam?

Any of u guys had an experience etc about these kits that supposingly give u more mpg?

had one on mine 4 a bit...do diffrance to mpg so removed it and still have it lol

Can someone please tell me what these kits are and how they are supposed to work?? I have never heard of them and only know of cars that are powered by hyrdogen fuel cells, which work very differently from petrol and diesel engines.

They use Electrolysis to seperate water into Oxygen & Hydrogen, then feed the Hydrogen into the inlet. It probably uses more electrical power to produce the hydrogen than you would ever save in fuel.
