I really liked what sharkyR did with his badges, I have just ordered a colour match paint to my alloys and I'm going to get my badges painted, I have thought that I only want the V70 and the R badge left on, I don't really like the position of the Volvo badge so I would leave it off. Do you think the rear will look bare?

Simples...

Do all the badges, stick the V70R bit on and if you don't like it, stick the Volvo badge back on too :D

I thought that but I need to buy new badges and don't want to waste the penny's on a badge I don't need

Buy the V70R badge and if it looks lonely, buy the Volvo one.

What's wrong with the old ones?

Nothing's wrong with them so if I can find a way to reuse them I will but I don't know how too.

Keep it simple, just use the V70R.... I removed all mine and just kept the R. Looks alot cleaner from the back. Less is more.

I prefer it without. A tip i would give to get rid of the adesive would be a micro fibre cloth and some surgical spirit from a phamacy. I use that combo to removed glue etc off my work cars when i remove all the art work as it does affect the paint.

T5ABC has got a nice rear end. (Matron!)
I would have the V50 'VOLVO' and that would be it. Like iancho says, less is more.

Yes mine is a manual. Wouldnt have bought it if it was a auto. The difference at lights and handling is quite alot with the AWD working frankie. But i do like to leave a cloud of smoke and its impossible with awd system on that. Grips so well even with tracs off. Fuel econ seemed to be 2-3mpg higher when running fwd though. No idea why

What about putting the V70 on one side of the tailgate and the R on the other? Just an idea mate.

Martyn, if you want, post a pic of the back end of your car with all the badges attached and I'll do a little photoshopping...
