Evening all,

Just looking at buying a thermostat but have noticed there is 2 types listed for my car. The car is an 850R.

The 2 listed have 87 degree and 90/92 degree opening temperatures. Which one would you say to get as i havent a clue!

Cheers

I would put the 87 degrees thermostate in it mate opens earlier and keeps things cooler too

I'd go for the 87 degree, the higher temps are probably for colder climates (and perhaps non-turbo engines?).

I'd go for the hotter one personally, i like a nice warm car and a few degrees of heat is going to make zero difference to a road cars' performance.
