V70 squeeling noise

Phase 1 v70 r is making a squeeling noise from the front passanger side, mainly from 20mph onwards, anyone experienced anything similar? Unfortunately it's not in the garage til Tuesday and I need to use the car til then.

This might sound silly but it's not your fan belt is it?

Failing that, you may have a brake caliper stuck on slightly and the friction at certain speeds is making it squeel...

I've had motors come in before with stones wedged between the caliper carrier and the disc making horrendous noises.

would the fan make a squeeling noise when driving along? or just when stationery?

I doubt the fan would squeal at all. Have a look at it and it's surround - see if anything is fouling or if the fan wobbles on it's bearings. At least you can rule it out.

Crap between the brake disk and caliper/pad is a good place to look, as stated above.
