Does anyone have any experience with compomotive wheels?

Want a set for my v70 r, am i right in thinking the stud pattern on the new focus rs is 5x108 which is the same as the v70?

Looking at either the MO1771:

or MO1777:

Tried emailing compmotive but with no joy yet.

The PCD (%x108) is the same, but the centre bore is different: Focus RS is 63.4mm, V70 is 65.1mm

Saying that, I think Compomotive drill the wheels to order, so, it won't be a problem.

I know there about £1000 brand new, on a well known ford forum there around £400-500 for a good set with half decent tyres! Are they spigot rings that change the bore size? Would that be possible?

0Spigot ring aren't going to help here, as the centre bore on Fords are smaller, if you get a set, you counld have them machine out to fit the Volvo.

I have a set of Team Dynamics Pro-Race 1.2, they were made for me, as nearly all TD wheels are, they were £550, I got them on a Autosports show offer.

I did really want the MO's though

I wouldn't be surprised if the center bore was bigger and the fords use spigot rings.

Sorry I thought you said the volvo was smaller, think ill see if I can find any second hand in Volvo fitment or get a price for a new set already machined to fit.

Don't suppose you know a rough cost to get them machined to for do you? Would any engineering shop be able to do it? And it wouldn't make the wheels loose any strength would it?

Sorry for all the questions, I've always loved MO's and as I'm liking the volvo more and more makes perfect sense

Its ok, no, Volvo's have a bigger centre bore :)

Not a clue about machining them up sorry, any good machine shop should be able to do it, I doubt that machining will affect the strength.

Have you tried ringing Compmotve, or one of their dealers?

Anthracite, same as the wheels I have now suits the car!
Whites to much effort and black you won't see the details, any brighter and I'd have to put them on a drift car haha
