I've never laughed so hard!

Any ideas on finding a sensible way of fixing this? Where two ends of the seal meet on the roof, they have peeled away slightly, meaning that any overzealous washing activity gets inside the roof. The plastic tray has gone foul as a result and all the material is falling off it, along with copious amounts of mildew...

I was just going to have a go with some bath silicone, but would prefer parts to fix it.

Did you try the local sunroof specialists for the seal and find someone breaking an 850 for the tray (or indeed the glass and seal as well) It all comes out pretty easy as you probably have found out.
This is just a guess based on prev wxperiencec with other makes - maybe a "Sorry mate, Volvo only" experience!!
A local car trimmer would probably recover it if you asked. (soggy 850 driver seat base restuffed for £85 locally here)

Thanks Woz, yeah unfortunaltey most of the cars being broken that I've seen haven't been lumbered with a oversized water inlet valve (sunroof). Yeah, think I can findn a decent finisher who can knock something up. I shall report back when my botty is dry!
