Going to christen it Manfred von Richthofen (the red Baron) or Manny for short. He's with p.w volvo in Sheffield at the moment. Will get some better pics when he's back. Btw, it does have the rip piping :)

Not me in the picture, is my mate gaz who took me to collect. As you can see, he's sporting a 1.8 t spark, cost him more to MOT it last week than it did for me to buy Manny, much to his annoyance, I beat him home by 20 minutes ;)

Cheers! Yeah, I've got high hopes for it! In garage for PCV, Cam belt and pulleys, oil leaks, the cutting out issue I mentioned in my other post, boot stays and a general service. Looks like it was lacking a little love in the last couple of years but nothing terminal. It's a nice blank canvass.
It's going to be my main car and I need it ASAP so didn't have the luxury of fixing all of that at home, besides, some of it is probably a bit beyond my skill levels having only maintained a 2ltr 460 myself so far...

Thanks! not a spot of rust to be seen on the whole car! One let down is the rear clusters, suffering from severe crisping, was going to wet sand, polish & lacquer them. Anyone tried anything similar before?

Loving that two-tone job on yours there Brick, can't wait to attend a meeting and check everyones rides out for inspiration. I sometimes feel a bit of an outcast with my obsession ;)
