Turbo outlet question

Hi guys, I,ve got a 3" down pipe on the beastie but it has an 18T with a straight flange outlet which is 2.5"(i think) as opposed to the angled flange that is 3". now my querry is this, if i can get the outlet machined to match the the dowmpipe would that be as good as the an angled flange?
If so has any body got an old straight flange outlet that is going spare?
