Another Throttle Body Question

Hi All,

This is my last question on thsi subject.

Will a throttle body from a 97-00 V70 petrol 2.5 fit a 1995 850?

My understanding is that these are the same engine but i could be wrong.

according to the online Volvo shop all these use the same gasket, so the throttle body will fit. But this doesn't mean the internal bore is the same size as even T-5's use the same gasket as the larger 960 item

The P1 V70 throttle body plate is 65mm and i have been offered one of those. All the connections look the same so i think i will fit.

The reason being is i am trying to install a bigger throttle body as mine is only a 55mm with the plastic wedge.

The inlet should support it but for love nor money can i find a 65mm 20v throttle body in the UK. I might order one from Snubb in the states if i get no luck by the end of the month.
