Due a service, what would people recommend as good oil to use?

I posted a thread on this a couple of weeks back. The feeling varies, some say use cheaper oil and change more often, some people say use the best stuff money can buy, especially with higher mileage cars.

Personally, I'll opting for the premium oil given the mileage on mine.

I use 10w40 slightly thicker than 5w40 changed every 5000 miles.
