I see a lot of people using that 3M self adhesive Black Carbon Fibre Vinyl but wanted to be a bit different. How can I tell what colour the silver looking insert part of my door panel is? I can get either Silver, Scaled Aluminium, Silver Carbon Fibre or Brushed Aluminium but dont want to waste money getting the wrong one.

I've wrapped several sets of interior trim and the brushed titanium is by far the best looking of them all.
Are you looking to match a particular trim part/colour?
I may be able to give you a few pointers.

Yes, I was thinking of wrapping parts of the center console & possibly other parts depending on how easy they are to get off the car. I'd like to match the door card silver insert. Where did you get the vinyl from?

As you can see, I've been busy with mine lol.

As you're doing interior stuff, the expensive 3M stuff isn't really worthwhile. I used the cheap stuff from fleabay. It was about 4 quid for 300mm x 1200mm. Get yourself a hot air gun and some sharp knives (stanley or scalpel).
