Can someone tell me what this V70 mod is for the 850??

Just read flyingbananas for sale post for his yellow T5-R and under his list of mods there was one listed that i havent heard of but am very interested in.....

V70 windscreen pillar trims ( got the rain catchers the 850s never had )

Can someone tell me what i need to get as theres a V70 in a breakers down the road and im sick of getting soaked every time i have the window down :help:

its the rubber trim that goes up the windscreen & across the roof. On the S/V70's they've got a lip to catch the water, so you can use your wipers with the window open & it won't push the water inside the car

Thanks fandango will go have a look on the weekend. Hopefully it will stop the endless streams of water coming into the car in the mornings :smileypul

mate it dont work i have had many v70's and s70's and water will come in when the wipers are on and window open

Surely its better than on an 850 that doesn't have them?

mine does it without the wipers on damn thing. Its not just a bit of water either!!

Do the window surrounds youve got on the V70R in your sig help atall?
